FOX “Gotham”  [FULL SEASON ORDERED] behind the scenes superhero series focusing on origin story of Commissioner James Gordon as he fights the villains before he met Batman. Series commitment after network bidding war. The CW “The Flash” [FULL SEASON ORDERED] DC comics superhero project revolving around Barry Allen/Flash, introduced as an 3 episode plot within “Arrow” series now upgraded to stand alone series. NBC “Constantine” drama about supernatural guardian defending world from evil based on DC comic book series of the same title. Script purchase with penalty. Cast: Matt Ryan, Harold Perrineau, Lucy Griffiths and Charles Halford. NBC Fridays 10:00/9:00c. Expected October 24, 2014.

[Syfy] “Ascension” follows crew of NASA’s secret space mission launched in 1960ies sending hundreds of men, women and children on a century long travel into stars to populate new world. Cast: Tricia Helfer, Brian Van Holt, Andrea Roth, Brandon P. Bell November 24, 2014.

The CW “iZombie” supernatural procedural/zombie drama based on books by DC Comics featuring zombie medical student who picks job at coroner’s office to get sustainable access to fresh brains but discovers she can inherit memories from her “meals” helping her solve crimes. Cast: Rose McIver, Rahul Kohli, Malcolm Goodwin, Robert Buckley, David Anders, Nora Dunn and Alexandra Krosney. Expected midseason 2015.

ABC “Agent Carter” another backstage superhero drama set in Marvel universe this time focusing on Captain America’s girlfriend. Cast: Hayley Atwell. Expected midseason 2015. ABCs Tuesdays 9:00/8:00c. Expected winter 2014.

The CW “The Messengers” drama following a small group of strangers is awaken from death with task to prevent end of the mankind after unidentified extra terrestrial object crashes to earth. Cast: Diogo Morgado, Shantel VanSanten, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Jon Fletcher, Craig Frank, Lane Garrison and Joel Courtney. Expected midseason 2015.

ABC “The Whispers” drama revolving around alien forces trying to destroy the planet through Earth’s natural resources. Cast: Barry Sloane, Milo Ventimiglia, Lily Rabe, Derek Webster, Brianna Brown, Kylie Rogers, Catalina Denis and Kyle Harrison Breitkop . Expected midseason 2015.

NBC “Odyssey”  conspiracy thriller about three families torn apart by their members being accused of international military conspiracy. USA “Dig” event drama based around FBI agent in Jerusalem who while investigating murder of a archaeologist comes across millennia old conspiracy threatening entire civilisation. Based on Israeli format. Six episodes ordered. Cast: Jason Isaacs, Anne Heche

FOX “Wayward Pines”  miniseries drama about secret service agent investigating mysterious disappearance of his colleagues in small town. M. Night Shyamalan involved. Based on novel by Blake Crouch. Cast: Matt Dillon, Shannyn Sossamon, Juliette Lewis, Toby Jones, Carla Gugino, Melissa Leo, Greta Lee, Lindsey Kraft. Originally expected in summer 2014, now expected midseason 2015 and beyond.

Starz “Fortitude” dark adult drama about small Arctic circle town shaken by murder of a scientist. Co-production with Sky Atlantic in UK. 13 episodes order in early April 2013. Starz participation in production is currently on hold, it is understood British Sky Atlantic is going ahead with primary photography regardless with UK premiere now set to late 2014 or early 2015.

NBC “The Mysteries Of Laura” [FULL SEASON ORDERED] drama about life of a female homicide detective who can handle murders and violence at work but is completely lost with her own kids. Based on the Spanish series “Los Misterios De Laura”. Cast: Debra Messing, Josh Lucas, Laz Alonso. NBC’ Wednesday 8:00/7:00c. Starts September 17, 2014.

ABC “Forever” [FULL SEASON ORDERED] Procedural drama following police detective paired with a medical examiner who remains immortal as long as he never ventures beyond the island of Manhattan. Based on Pete Hamill’s novel. Cast: Ioan Gruffudd, Alana De La Garza, Judd Hirsch, Barbara Eve Harris, Joel David Moore and Donnie Keshwarz. ABC Tuesdays 10:00/9:00c. Premieres September 23, 2014. CBS “NCIS New Orleans” [FULL SEASON ORDERED] Naval Crime Investigation Service spin off focusing on investigations from Pensacola, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Cast: Scott Bakula, Zoe McLellan, Lucas Black, CCH Pounder and Paige Turco. CBS Tuesdays 9:00/8:00c. Starts September 23, 2014.

CBS “Stalker” [FULL SEASON ORDERED] procedural drama set among Threat Management Unit of LAPD. Cast: Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Mariana Klaveno. CBS Wednesdays 9:00/8:00c. Premieres October 1, 2014.

CBS “CSI: Cyber” another spin off from Crime Scene Investigation franchise, this time dedicated to digital and cyber crime division. Cast: Patricia Arquette. CBS Sundays 10:00/9:00c. Expected in Winter 2014.

ABC “American Crime”  drama set around racially motivated crime told through the eyes of victims and the accused. Cast: Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Penelope Ann Miller, Richard Cabral, Johnny Ortiz, Elvis Nolasco, Benito Martinez, W. Earl Brown and Caitlin Gerard. ABC Sundays 9:00/9:00c. CBS “Battle Creek” detective drama set in titular Battle Creek Michigan from creators of “Braking Bad” and “House”. 13 episode series commitment. Cast: Josh Duhamel, Dean Winters, Janet McTeer, Aubrey Dollar, Edward Fordham Jr. and Kal Penn

TNT “Public Morals” period drama set among officers of New York City’s Public Morals Division in 1960ies. Cast: Ed Burns, Michael Rapaport

HBO”Criminal Justice” high profile drama with stand-alone-plot-per-episode narration, where each episode follows one person charged with murder as they move through the New York justice system. Loosely based on  2008 BBC series of the same name. In late February 2013 HBO decided to postpone production of the pilot until further notice following James Gandolfini’s death. Pilot slot in 2013 lineup was given to Lindelof’s “Leftovers”. In mid May 2013 HBO ordered the show to limited 7 episode series. Cast: Robert De Niro, Rizwan Ahmed, Bill Camp, Peyman Moadi and Poorna Jagannathan

NBC “The Slap” limited run eight episode series about consequences of a man slapping an unrelated to him child at a suburban barbecue seen from different perspective by event attendies. Based on the 2011 Australian short-run series which in turn was an adaptation of the 2008 novel by Christos Tsiolkas. Cast:

MTV “Eye Candy” drama revolving around New York woman who suspects one of her dates might be serial killer.
